Meet Chef Kareema from Chef Kareema Caribbean Fusion!!

After watching a cooking show and thinking to herself "I could do that" Kareema decided to go to culinary school and become a professional chef. She began her entrepreneurial journey in 2014 mostly doing catering, and recently opened her takeout restaurant downtown Toronto at 203 Dundas Street East.

Back in March Chef Kareema's restaurant was stolen from, and then vandalized not once but twice in the same weekend. The city ended up rallying together to support her through this, helping her clean up and raise money to repair the damages. Through it all she hasn't missed a step and continues to grow her business everyday.
